8-Week Grief Support Group. In a small supportive group environment explore your grief through discussion and education. Designed for those whose loss has occurred at least 3 months prior to the start of the group. Registration required. At Yolo Hospice, Mondays, Oct 15 - Dec 10, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Drop-In Grief Support Group. Three ongoing groups offer support for anyone grieving the death of a loved one. No registration required. At Yolo Hospice, Thursday evenings, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. At Yolo Hospice, Friday mornings, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. NEW! In Woodland - Yolo Family Services Agency, 2nd & 4th Mondays each month, 10:30am -noon

GRIEF SUPPORT CLASSES FOR ADULTS:

Understanding Grief. This class provides an introduction to understanding the grief process, natural and normal grief responses, and self-care. Registration required. At Yolo Hospice, Thursday, October 18, 10:00 a.m. - noon

Coping With Grief Through The Holidays. This class is designed to provide practical information to help grievers prepare and create a sense of hope and joy this holiday season. Choose from the following sessions in either English or Spanish: At Yolo Hospice, Wednesday, November 14, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. or 6 - 8 pm

STEPPING STONES - SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN & TEENS:
On-going support group for grieving children and teens with alternating sessions on Thursday evening for each age group. Orientation required. At Yolo Hospice, Thursdays, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

ART THERAPY and Other Classes:

LENDING LIBRARY: Books and videos on a multitude of bereavement-related topics are available to read in the comfortable library at Yolo Hospice, or to check-out for home use.
